The Franklin Regional Band includes Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Marching Band. The band is part of the Franklin Regional School District located in Murrysville Pennsylvania and is under the direction of Mr. Kevin Pollock.

Countdown to the Macy's Parade:

Congratulations to the FR Marching Band for receiving an invitation to the 2009 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City!

The Macy’s parade staff came to the school directly from New York to make the announcement to the band in the high school auditorium. This will be the band’s second appearance in the parade, having been there in 2003. The Band Staff congratulates all members of this year’s marching band on their remarkable achievement! Special thanks to our juniors and seniors, who although they will not be with us in 2009, made all this possible with the terrific performances this year! We will make you proud! 	On Wednesday, May 28th at 7:00 PM in the High School Auditorium, there will be a meeting for all new (2008-2009) bandfront students and their parents. New students will be fitted for uniforms and orders will be taken for accessory items. This is a very important meeting, so please have at least one parent in attendance.
