Assistant Director - Terese Becse
Teresa Becse hails from a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. She was very active in high school but her fondest memories are of the time that she spent as a proud member of the Zebra Marching Band. Teresa played clarinet during “concert” season and played the saxophone for jazz band and marching band. After graduating from high school Teresa attended the University of Michigan where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Teresa continued marching, military style, as an Officer in the US Navy where she began her teaching career at the Navy’s Nuclear Power School. Teresa left the Navy and worked in industry as a Chemical Services Manager and a Mechanical Engineer. After completing her MS in Engineering Management and relocating to the Pittsburgh area Teresa decided to leave industry so that she could complete her teaching certification at Seton Hill University and return to the job that she most enjoyed, teaching.
This will be Teresa’s fourth year at Franklin Regional teaching chemistry. She enjoys teaching and only regrets that she did not come back to teaching sooner. Teresa’s fond memories of high school marching band and her military marching experience brought Teresa to our staff as an Assistant Band Director in 2006.
